Wonderstorm is a double-threat multimedia startup dedicated to creating timeless entertainment franchises anchored by rich, character-driven stories and engaging video games that will delight audiences of all ages for generations. We’re currently developing The Dragon Prince, a Netflix animated series and a deep, engaging video game – both from the same world and vision.
-Collaborated with Game Designer and Art Director to assist in the creation of a style-guide, providing visual references and written guidance for the art team.
-Created concepts for environment pieces such as rocks, trees, and buildings matching the game’s style.
Art Lead (Promoted from Concept Artist Role)
-Responsible for coordinating team meetings and maintaining cross-communication.
-Reviewed art and created reference kits or draw-overs as needed to assist art team in keeping work stylistically consistent with the game's vision.
-Continued to fulfill concept art and 3D tasks as needed.
Concept Artist (Initial Role)
-Created character concept iterations, color variants, and turnarounds matching project style.
-Hand painted textures for characters and environment.
-Designed UI elements for various menus that were clear, functional, and stylish.
-Fulfilled additional tasks as needed (UV unwrapping, packing, game poster edits).
Complete various tasks as needed by the studio, including but not limited to...
-Assisting with preliminary color application in watercolor or oils.
-Mural painting under director Philip Sabado, working collaboratively with other artists and matching the style of the original concept.
-Gold leaf detailing on watercolor paintings/reproductions.
-Graphic design (creating promo materials such as rack cards, brochures, hang tags, etc.).
-Translation (English to Japanese for printing purposes).
-Photographing, retouching, and archiving studio work for reproduction.
